BEHDA POWDER (Bibhitaki / Terminalia bellirica)
Behda, also known as Bibhitaki, is one of the three powerful herbs in the famous Triphala formulation. It is known for its deep detoxifying, respiratory, and digestive benefits. How to Use:
Internal Use:
¼ to ½ teaspoon Behda powder with lukewarm water after meals.
For respiratory issues: mix with honey or lukewarm water.
Often used with Amla + Harad as Triphala.

Pregnant or Breastfeeding Women – Internal consumption should be avoided without medical advice.
Diarrhea or Loose Motions – Behda may worsen symptoms due to its laxative effect.
Severe Cough with Dryness – Behda reduces mucus; may aggravate dry cough.
Low Blood Sugar – It may lower glucose levels; diabetics should monitor carefully.
Low Blood Pressure – May reduce BP further in sensitive individuals.
Children Under 12 (Internal Use) – Avoid unless recommended by a doctor.
Post-Surgery or Weak Digestion – Avoid until the digestive system stabilizes.
If Allergic to Myrobalan Fruits – Rare but possible; discontinue if irritation or rash occurs.
Dehydration – Laxative action can increase dehydration.
