Indigo Powder is made from the leaves of the Indigofera tinctoria plant. It is a 100% natural hair dye widely used as a chemical-free alternative to synthetic hair colors.

HOW TO USE
For Black Color
Step 1: Apply Henna
Leave for 1–2 hours
Wash off
Step 2: Apply Indigo Paste
Mix Indigo with warm water and a pinch of salt
Apply for 45–60 minutes
Wash with plain water
For Brown Shade
Mix henna + indigo together (35:65, 50:50 depending on shade)
General
Do not use hot water
Use immediately after mixing (oxidation starts fast)
Do not use metal bowls
CONDITIONS NOT TO USE
Avoid or use with caution in the following cases:
1. G6PD Deficiency
Indigo may not be suitable for people with this enzyme disorder.
2. Sensitive/Allergic Skin
Avoid if you have a history of:
Pollen allergy
Plant-based dye allergies
Skin rashes after herbal products
3. Scalp Wounds or Cuts
Do not apply if you have:
Bleeding scalp
Open cuts
Severe infection
4. Extremely Dry or Dehydrated Hair
Indigo can make hair slightly dry; mix with conditioning agents or avoid.
5. Pregnant or Breastfeeding Women (Internal Use)
Topical use on hair is safe; never consume orally.
6. Chemical Dye Users
If you recently used chemical dyes with:
Ammonia
Bleach
Developer
There may be a reaction—wait 2–3 weeks before switching.
7. Light-Colored Hair (Naturally Blonde)
May give unpredictable blue-green tint if not used properly.
8. Eye Sensitivity
Keep away from the eye area; Indigo powder may irritate eyes.
