CONDITIONS NOT TO USE
Avoid Ubtan or use with caution in the following situations:
1. Very Sensitive Skin
Some ingredients like turmeric, lemon, or multani mitti may cause irritation or redness.
Patch test advised.
2. Active Acne or Open Wounds
Exfoliating action may aggravate painful pimples or cuts.
3. Extremely Dry Skin
Ubtan with multani mitti can make dryness worse; should be mixed with milk/cream or avoided.
4. Allergies to Any Ingredient
Avoid if allergic to turmeric, besan, sandalwood, or any herbal ingredient in the mix.
5. Sun Exposure Immediately After Use
Some ingredients increase photosensitivity.
Always apply sunscreen after washing off.
6. Skin Conditions Like Eczema, Psoriasis, Dermatitis
May trigger irritation; avoid unless approved by a dermatologist.
7. Over-Exfoliation
Using Ubtan too frequently can lead to dryness and sensitivity.
Recommended 2–3 times weekly depending on skin type.
